Where can I download the MobileKeep app?

iPhone users can download MobileKeep directly in the App Store. Android users can download MobileKeep directly in the Google Play store.

How do I create a group and add people to it?

Once you have opened the MobileKeep app, press “Create Group” on the top left corner. You can then name your group and set your geofence to your desired radius. Press the pin drop in the bottom right corner and your group has been created! From there, invite your friends or family with the plus button or by sharing the unique group code.

How do I change my profile picture?

In your profile, select the grey Avatar at the top and you can take a photo specifically for your Avatar within the app or select a photo from your photo library within your device.

How do I change my password?

In your profile, select “Change Password”. You will then be prompted to enter a new password below. Once your new password has been entered, click “Save.”

I forgot my password. How can I reset it?

Simply follow the “forgot login?” prompt once you open the app. You will be asked to enter your mobile number and will be sent a pin to regain access to the app.

I forgot my Access Pin, what do I do?

Once you are logged in to the MobileKeep app, you can change your Access Pin in your profile by pressing “Change Pin”. Enter your new desired pin and press “Save”. Remember your Access Pin to turn off the alert if another user rings your device through the app.

How many people can I add to a group?

There is no set amount! Use MobileKeep in a group of two or 2,000.

What is the difference between a private group and a public group? Why can’t I add people to my group?

In a private group, only the group creator can add new members. This is a great option for families that want to add their children into a family-only group. In a public group, any member can add additional members as they see fit.

Why am I not receiving push notifications?

Make sure push notifications for MobileKeep are turned on in your phone’s settings.

How do we change the radius within our group?

Only the creator of a group is able to update the radius. Within the menu, select group. Choose the group you are wanting to update. If you’re the creator of the group, you will be able to update the radius on this screen by simply tapping on radius and selecting the new radius.

Why can’t I track my friend?

Make sure your friend has enabled tracking on their device to be shown on the map

Why is a group member showing red on my map?

When a group member exits the predetermined geofence, they will show as red on the map until they are back within the radius. 

How do I ring someone in the group?

On the main screen, once your selected group appears on the map, simply click on an Avatar and select “ring” in order to ring the user’s device. This option is only available if the member has turned on their tracking feature. This is also a great option if you have lost your own device. Simply ask another group member to ring your Avatar and your phone will sound an alert to help you locate your device, even if your ringer is turned off.
